Yesterday I was hunting crocuses, today I was chasing cherry blossoms! At the end of my April 4th post you would have seen a painting I did with the caption “visions of cherry blossoms dance in my head”! A part of living a fulfilling life is making dreams come true! My dream of being enveloped by a cherry blossom canopy came true today.
After checking into my home away from home, I donned my rain coat, grabbed my camera then went chasing. The chase was easy! The cherry blossoms along with lots of other kinds of blossoms were right before my eyes, they were everywhere.
I lived a dream!
The rain turned to showers, the showers turned to just clouds.
I strolled street after street after street.
I did wander around the harbour.
I did have fish & chips paired with a local IPA.
This was a great kick off to my cherry blossom chase, getting my fill of fresh fish, being by water and breathing in that wonderful west coast sea salt air!
What a wonderful dream to have come true!
